Even though you're probably jarred by the sound of Sergeant FastWeb's voice, you'd really like to follow his orders. He wants YOU to have the opportunity to win $1,000 a week.
But Bootcamp and basic training really isn't your thing. In fact, you're confused by the whole process. Exercises? Self-Assessment? Dog Tags? We're here to pick those of you up who are down in the dirt.
Assess Yourself. College has its requirements, and you need to measure up. Through the Self-Assessment, which can be accessed through the Scholarship Bootcamp homepage, you can identify your strengths and weaknesses. Knowing areas in which you need to improve will help you find more pertinent info during Bootcamp for your college search and application process.
Get Your Orders. Under the Self-Assessment button on the homepage, you'll see links to weekly Bootcamp topics. Click on those links to find helpful information relevant to that topic. If you click on a story, you'll be directed to the good ol', camoflauge-less FastWeb.
Dog Tag It. The dog tags are the key to your Bootcamp scholarship success. Each week's "orders" and accompanying articles feature a dog tag at the bottom of the page. Read through the article, get the number on the dog tag, and e-mail that number to scholarshipbootcamp@fastweb.com. Ta-da! You're entered to win $1,000. Read all of the articles that week and submit multiple dog tags for a greater chance of winning.
You don't have to be an officer, like Sergeant FastWeb, to get decorated with scholarships. Congratulations Private, you've successfully completed Bootcamp Basic Training!
